How to Add a LinkedIn Account to Mainflow

Please follow the steps below to add your LinkedIn account:

  • Go to Mainflow > Channels > LinkedIn menu and click the Add channel button.
  • Next, click the Sign in with LinkedIn button.
  • You also have the option to add the account using a Proxy.

– The LinkedIn authorization page will appear, and the system will add the account currently logged into the browser. If this is not the account you want to use, or if you wish to add a different account, simply log into the desired account in a new browser tab.

– Click the channels to add them to the plugin or click the >> button to add all of them at once;

– Activate your channels to share posts on social networks automatically whenever a new post is published. If you do not activate channels, you need to manually add them to the Mainflow section each time you wish to share specific posts on your social network accounts;

– You can also activate channels conditionally by selecting specific taxonomies to share particular posts or exclude certain posts from being shared. This will apply only to auto-posting;

– The Customize content option allows you to assign specific content for this specific channel which will override the content you specifically in the social network settings;

– Additionally, you can enable or edit proxy credentials without reauthorizing the channel.

– Once channels are activated, they will be visible in the Mainflow section when posting. The system will automatically share posts on these channels.

– In the Permissions tab, you can allow other users to manage channels in their Mainflow dashboard. You can grant permission for them to only share posts or give them full access to manage the channel and edit its settings.

– Organize channels into specific groups under the Labels tab, making it easier to add entire groups of channels to the Planners or Schedules instead of adding them one by one.

– Now, you can easily filter channels by label and click the >> button to add them all at once for sharing;

– The LinkedIn token will expire when you change your account password or after 1 year, as LinkedIn tokens have a one-year lifespan. You will need to delete and re-add your account to the system when the token expires.

– If your post images are not visible after sharing, you can use the LinkedIn developer page to debug your website and find the reason.
