How to Add a Tumblr Account to Mainflow
Option 1: Use the Mainflow Standard App to add your account.
Option 2: Create your personal App and add your accounts using the personal App.
1. Use the Mainflow Standard App to Add Your Account
You need just 3 clicks to authorize your Tumblr account:
– Go to Mainflow > Channels > Tumblr menu and click the Add channel button.
– Next, click the Sign in with Tumblr button.
– You also have the option to add the account using a Proxy.
– The Tumblr authorization page will appear. Click the Allow button. The page will display the account name currently logged into the browser. If this is not the account you want to add, or if you’d like to use a different account, log in to the desired account in a new browser tab.

– Click the channels to add them to the plugin or click the >> button to add all of them at once in case you have many;

– Activate your channels to share posts on social networks automatically whenever a new post is published. If you don’t activate channels, you will need to manually add them to Mainflow whenever you want to share specific posts on your social media accounts.
– You can also activate channels conditionally by selecting specific taxonomies to share or exclude specific posts from particular channels. This applies only to auto-posts.
– The Customize content option lets you assign specific content to this channel, which will override the content defined in the social network settings.
– Additionally, you can enable a proxy or edit proxy credentials without needing to reauthorize the channel.
– Once channels are activated, they will appear in the Mainflow section when publishing a new post. Once the post is published, it will automatically be shared on these channels.

– In the Permissions tab, you can grant other users access to use the channels in their Mainflow dashboard. You can allow them to only share posts or give them full access to manage the channel and its settings.
– In the Labels tab, you can organize channels into specific groups, making it easier to add a group of channels to the Planners or Schedules instead of adding them one by one.
– Now, you can easily filter channels by label and click the >> button to add them all at once for sharing;
2. Create Your Personal App and Add It to Mainflow– Go to the Tumblr Developers page, and click the API link.
– On the next page, scroll down a bit and click on the “register an application” link:
– The registration form will appear. Fill in the required fields, such as your application name, website, and default callback URL. Do not use the examples in the image, confirm you are not a robot, and click the Register button.
– After registering, copy your redirect URL from the Apps tab in Mainflow.
– That is all. Your App will be created, and you can copy the App key and Secret key:

– Now you can assign a name to the app for easy recognition and add the App credentials to Mainflow.
– Go to Mainflow > Channels > Tumblr menu and click the Add channel button.- Next, click the More options button.
– Select your App from the list and click the Continue button.
– You also have the option to add the account using a Proxy.
– When the Tumblr authorization page appears, click the Allow button. The page will display the account name currently logged into the browser. If this isn’t the account you want to add, or if you want to use a different account, log into that account in a new browser tab.

– Click the page to add it to Mainflow, or click the >> button to add all of them at once if you have multiple accounts.

– Activate your channels to share posts on social networks automatically whenever a new post is published. If you do not activate channels, you will need to manually add them to Mainflow whenever you want to share specific posts on your social network accounts.
