You can effortlessly add and manage tasks in your boards using various features. Mainflow simplifies the task creation process, allowing you to efficiently organize your work. This guide will walk you through adding and managing tasks in your board.
Adding a New Task #
Navigate to the board where you want to add a task. You can either click the Add Task button within a stage or click the Plus icon at the top of the stage to create a task.

Provide a Title for your task and click Save. Once saved, the task will be added to your selected board stage.

Task Management Options #
Click on the task card to access various management features that will help you handle your task efficiently. Below is a breakdown of these options:

Assignees #
Click the Add Assignee button to view the list of board members. To assign a member to the task, click the Plus icon next to their name.

Due Date #
You can set both a Start Date and Due Date for your task, including the specific time. Click the Set Dates button, select the dates, and then click Save to apply them to your task.

Priority #
Click the Priority button to set the priority level of your task as High, Medium, or Low.

Description #
To provide more details, use the Description field, where you can add media and format text as needed. Once you’ve entered your description, click Save.

Attachments #
Click on Add Attachment, and a pop-up will appear, allowing you to attach files, links, or text. Once added, click the Add Link button to confirm the attachment.

Subtasks #
You can create multiple Subtasks, each with its own features:
- Set Dates: Assign specific start and due dates for subtasks.
- Add Assignee: Assign a team member to the subtask (only one assignee per subtask is allowed).
- Three-Dot Menu: Click on this button to access the following options:
- Edit: Modify the subtask details.
- Convert to Task: Transform the subtask into a main task.
- Delete: Remove the subtask from the list.

CRM Contact #
To associate a CRM contact with your task, click the CRM Contact button and select the relevant contact. If needed, you can remove the contact by clicking the Delete button next to it.

Mark as Task Completed #
Click the Circle icon to mark your task as completed.

Task Comments and Activities #
Below the task details, you will find the Comments and Activities section.
- Comments: Only board members can comment and reply to task discussions.

- Activities: Click the Activities button to view all recent actions related to the task.
